Environment 

Environment plays a pivotal role in how comfortable your child is at their preschool. What makes a good environment for them, though? Overall, you want the preschool to have a child-like atmosphere, filled with vibrant colors and rich graphics. Even though you've raised a great child, they probably won't act perfect all of the time. That's why you need to know how the preschool deals with bad behavior, so you can make sure your child is taught important lessons about how to act.

Ask the preschool administrator what types of behavior management policies are in place. These should be concrete and followed by every staff member working for the preschool. As far as discipline, you want it to be age-appropriate. There shouldn't be any acts of physical punishment, but more so towards a reprimanding style.

An important time in your child's life is attending pre-school, where they can learn and make connections with their peers. To make sure this educational experience is overall positive, put a lot of effort into preschool selection. Only register your child into a preschool that you know will be a good match long-term.
